One of the hottest pepper varieties. The flavour may be weakened by removing seeds. The amount of capsaicin according to Scoville scale (SHU) is 150,000–325,000. Pods are 5 cm long, 3 cm wide, plants are 80 cm tall. Suitable for fresh consumption, for preserving, fruits may be dried or used for making jams. Grown in greenhouses, winter gardens, or outdoors during hot summer. Seedlings grow in 60–80 days, depending on growing conditions.
