Xanthosoma Sagittifolium Lime

Pot: 21cm
Plant Height: 70cm

Xanthosoma Sagittifolium 'Lime Zinger' is a very attractive aroid that has large leaves in an amazing shade of neon green! Usually called 'Elephant Ear', like some
Alocasias , due to the shape of their leaves and their size, these plants can reach up to 1.5 meters in height, even in your home! Essential for 'Plant collectors'!

Light: Prefers abundant indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight as it can cause leaf burns. Lack of light causes the plant to revert its hue to a common green.

Temperature: Prefers environments with mild to high temperature between 18-28ºC. Able to withstand temperatures as low as 12ºC for short periods of time. Avoid combining a low temperature with a drought.

Watering: Leave the substrate to dry slightly between watering, keep the soil slightly moist. Too much water can lead to decay of the tubers.

Fertilization: Apply a dose of fertilization by fertigation 1 to 2 times during spring.

Tips: Regularly clean any dust that may accumulate on the surface of the leaves with a damp cloth. Because it has tubers, it will go into dormancy in cold weather and will sprout again in spring.

Air purifiers: It has the ability to filter toxins from the small air layer around it, such as formaldehydes, trochlorethylenes and benzenes, making it an excellent choice for offices and bedrooms.
