Begonia leaves Fireworks

Pot: 13cm Height: 23cm

Light: Thrives best in bright indirect light, avoid direct sunlight as this will burn and scorch the leaves. Will not do well in shaded locations.
Water: Water weekly and keep the compost moist at all times. Do not allow the soil to dry out. Little and often is a good approach.
Temperature: Needs to be kept warm, ideally between 18-30°C. Does not like cold temperatures below 15°C. Avoid rapid temperature changes and placing near a window or radiators.
Humidity: Needs a moist environment with above average humidity. Stand on a pebble tray to improve humidity and mist frequently. Pop it near the shower or in the kitchen or bathroom for a while to give it an occasional boost if required.
Feed: Apply fertilizer twice a month (every two weeks) during the growing season to encourage flowering.
Care Tips: Yellowing leaves or yellow spotting is a sign of overwatering. Ensure the plant drains freely after each watering. If leaves start turning brown, it has had too much sun, move to a more shaded location.
Height and Growth Rate: Ultimate height 1.5m. Begonias are fast growing in the right conditions.
Toxicity: These plants are toxic to both people and pets. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children and animals.
Origin: Asia, Africa and South America.
